1. General Scope & Agreement
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all bespoke direct-to-wall vertical printing services, architectural murals, and digital visualisation services provided by Lavin Wall Studio Ltd ("we", "us", "our", or "the Studio") to clients ("you" or "the Client").
By commissioning an authoritative quote, approving a 3D digital visualisation preview, or booking an on-site printing session, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
2. Authoritative Quotations & Pricing Structure
- Database-Driven Authoritative Rates: All quotations generated via our online calculation system or provided by our estimators are derived from authoritative database records based on measured surface area (m²) and wall substrate complexity.
- Minimum Job Fee: To cover precision robotic calibration, high-performance UV-curable ink setup, and on-site engineering transport, an authoritative minimum project charge of £300.00 applies to all installations unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Validity: Formal written quotations remain valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue.
- Bespoke Structural Variations: If actual wall dimensions or surface conditions measured on-site differ from the initial client submission, the authoritative total will be adjusted proportionally in accordance with the registered rate per square metre.
3. Digital 3D Visualisations & Proof Sign-Off
Prior to printing, our design engineering team will provide a complimentary digital scaled 3D wall visualisation depicting the proposed artwork in situ on your wall.
- Mandatory Client Approval: Physical printing will not commence without written client sign-off (via email or signed job sheet) on the digital proof.
- Colour Fidelity: Our industrial vertical printers deposit CMYKW micro-droplets with direct UV LED curing at up to 1200 DPI. While our equipment is calibrated to exacting colour profiles, minor variations between backlit digital screens and ambient-lit physical surfaces are normal and acceptable.
4. Surface Preparation & Site Accessibility
The Client is responsible for ensuring the target wall and workspace meet the following baseline requirements prior to the arrival of our print crew:
- Surface Condition: The wall must be clean, dry, sound, and free from active damp, flaking paint, grease, oil, or protruding fixtures (nails, wall plugs, electrical faceplates). Minor undulations up to 10mm are compensated for automatically by our ultrasonic tracking sensors.
- Clear Workspace: A clearance of at least 1.0 metre directly in front of the wall and safe operating access along the track line must be maintained.
- Power Supply: A standard 230V UK mains power outlet within 15 metres of the printing area.
- Environment: Interior temperature must be between 10°C and 35°C during printing. Outdoor projects require dry, calm weather conditions or sheltered facade access.
5. UV Ink Durability, Curing & Warranty
Our inks are cured instantly during deposition using dual cold-curing UV LED lamps, resulting in an immediate dry, scratch-resistant finish with zero fumes or lingering chemical odours.
- Interior Longevity: Interior murals printed on prepared plaster, wood, stone, brick, glass, or acoustic board carry an expected colourfast lifespan of 10+ years under standard indoor lighting conditions without fading.
- Exterior Murals: Exterior murals are treated with UV protective sealants engineered for 3 to 5 years of weather resistance depending on solar exposure.
- Care Instructions: Clean walls gently with a soft microfibre cloth dampened with water or mild soapy detergent. Do not apply abrasive scouring pads, bleaches, acetone, or solvent-based chemical thinners.
6. Booking, Rescheduling & Cancellations
- Booking Confirmation: On-site dates are secured once the digital proof is approved and the required project deposit or purchase order is received.
- Client Rescheduling: Notice given at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled installation entails no administrative fee, subject to crew availability.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including adverse weather preventing outdoor printing, transit disruptions, or structural site hazards.
7. Copyright & Intellectual Property
- Client Assets: The Client warrants that any images, logos, trademarks, or custom art supplied to the Studio are owned by the Client or that appropriate licenses and permissions have been obtained. The Client indemnifies Lavin Wall Studio Ltd against any third-party intellectual property claims.
- Studio Portfolio: Unless explicitly restricted by non-disclosure agreement (NDA), the Studio reserves the right to capture high-definition photographs and video recordings of finished installations for marketing, social channels, and authoritative portfolio displays.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
